The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis Dr Terrance Drew has extended his best wishes to the students as the new session begins

St Kitts and Nevis: The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis Dr Terrance Drew has extended his best wishes to the students as the new session begins. The new session of school in the country has started on September 2, 2024.

The Prime Minister took to his social media to extend his best wishes to the officials and education stakeholders who are also returning to the schools for the new session. The administration led by Dr Drew has remained dedicated to the improvement and development of the education sector.

Dr Drew said that they have made several new advancements to the field to make sure that the  students have access to all the facilities that they need. The Prime Minister recently oversaw the renovation of the Cayon Primary High School.

During this trip, the Prime Minister was accompanied by the Deputy Prime Minister of the country, Dr Geoffrey Hanley. Dr Drew highlighted that they have worked hard to provide the students various tools, including their devices.

The aim of their efforts is to enhance the learning experience for the students. The Prime Minister then appreciated the management and stakeholders of the Cayon High School. According to the Prime Minister, the management has helped significantly in ensuring that the students can return seamlessly to schools.

Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew assured that the students will be going back to a safe space during the new session. will go back to a safe space. The administration has taken extensive measures to rid the school of mold to the extent of deploying advanced technology.

The officials have created a task force to deal with issues of mold that has remained a major cause of concern for community. The Prim Minister also handles the charge of the ministry of health and has ben a practicing doctor for several years before he stepped into politics.

As such, he finds it crucial to prioritize the health of the students “The health and safety of our students, teachers and auxiliary staff is our priority” claimed the Minister of Health

He assured that they will never compromise on this front. PM Drew encouraged all students to work hard and to be kind.
