Ayra Starr ft. AP Dhillon ‘Bora Bora’ is new viral track in everyone’s playlist 

The latest released Bora Bora ft. Ayra Starr is a vibrant new single and is a part of the latest EP - ‘The Brownprint’ by AP Dhillon. The track was dropped on Wednesday that showcased the infectious chemistry between Dhillon and Starr.

Nigerian Singer Ayra Starr collaborated with Indian Singer AP Dhillon for the latest track ‘Bora Bora’. The song got viral as soon as it was released on Youtube, on October 23, 2024. It is an unexpected collaboration that shows some great unity in the sound between the Nigerian and Punjabi musical culture.

Both the singers tried to make it a must-watch for their music fans worldwide. The track is directed by the Los Angeles filmmaker – Michelle Parker and with the video he tried to paint and portray a lively picture of community life. 

The music of the song is designed by producer Caroline Elliot Murphy under the label of production house Beze Studios. The Audio is Produced by Ramoon and Roc Legion which is set against the backdrop of a charming neighbourhood. 

The music captures the spirit of togetherness as people of various ages and cultures come together to revel in the joy of music and dance.

AP Dhillon shared his opinion for the track in a press statement and stressed upon the message of unity and connection. He expressed that with the song ‘Bora Bora’ they wanted to create a musical experience that brings people closer together. 

He further added that the song is about embracing the energy of the present moment and inspires others to do the same. According to him, the music video is a celebration of unity and how it is a bigger and better party when they all stand together.

Nigerian popular singer Ayra Starr also echoed her sentiment with AP Dhillon and expressed enthusiasm for making collaboration with the Punjabi singer. She presented her views and said that working on ‘Bora Bora’ was an amazing experience.  

As per her thoughts, the song embodies the spirit of freedom and self-expression that the music brings to the lives of all. The song is about breaking down barriers and finding common ground through music. 

Starr expressed further, “I hope track inspires people to come together, celebrate their differences and create beautiful memories.” 

Originally known as Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, Ayra Starr is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. She has achieved mainstream international recognition in the year 2022 with the release of her song ‘Rush’.  

The song quickly charted in several territories including Switzerland, Ireland and the uNited Kingdom, where it peaked at no.24. RUSH earned Starr a nomination at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards for the category Best African Music Performance. 

And, for those who are unfamiliar, AP Dhillon is an Indo-Canadian rapper, singer and record producer, wo has made a massive impact on the Punjabi music industry. He has record breaking songs to his name such as ‘Brown Munde’ and ‘Majhail’ that he produced with his label mates Gurinder Gill, Shinda Kahlon and Gminxr, as collective efforts at Run-Up Records.
