Sea Point Swimming Pool
First and foremost, comes the Sea Point Pavillion Swimming Pool that has been a favourite destination for locals and travellers since its establishment in 1950s. The pools are built along the Atlantic Ocean and are completely perfect for those scenic sunrise or sunset swims.
The Pavillion pools seamlessly blend with fitness, leisure and seaside beauty. This pool is very popular to spend quality time on public holidays as offers various facilities featuring Kiddies pool, Diving pool, Splash pool, Lifeguards, Ablution Amenities, Disability access, Saltwater pool, Kiosks, Showers, Change rooms and Grassed areas.

Located at the Sea Point Pavillion, Lower Beach Road the pool opens on Monday from 12pm to 7pm. On Tuesday to Sunday, including public holidays it remains open from 7am to 7pm. On Dec 25, 2025 the pool opens between 7am to 1pm. Entrance Fee for adults’ cost R37,50 and for kids it is R22 and for pensioners the visit is completely free.
Strand Indoor Swimming Pool
The place is just a short stroll from the beach where you can swim all year round. Adults can take a dip in the heated Strand Indoor Pool, and the little ones can splash in the kiddies one.
Well, for Capetonians summers are time for a break and to relax in the seating area and enjoy a snack before heading back for another lap. The facilities hold Kiddies pool, Lifeguards, Ablution amenities, Disability access, Spectator seating, Kiosks, Change rooms and showers.

Located on Beach Road in Strand the indoor pool opens from Monday to Sunday between 8am to 5pm. The entry charges fee R39.50 for adults, R22 for children (3-15 yrs), and is free for pensioners.
Khayelitsha Swimming Pool
Khayelitsha Swimming Pool is a welcome escape in the Cape Town summer heat where people can cool off, splash around, and even play games in the water. Along with the basic facilities, the pool consists of Ablution amenities, Change rooms, Kiosks, Playground, First aid room, showers, etc.

Located in Walter Sisulu Drive, Khayelitsha, the pool opens at 10 am to 6 pm from Monday to Sunday. Charges R9 for adults, R3 for children for entry and is completely free for pensioners.
Newlands Pool
Newlands Pool is ideal for families, fitness fans and anyone who loves being in the water. The place is known for safe swimming, picnics, sports and exercise, with lifeguards always on duty.
The pool offers all the necessary features and facilities such as Kiddies pool, Diving pool, Lifeguards, Spectator seating, Ablution amenities, Change rooms, Picnic areas and Showers.

It is located in the Corner of Main & Sans Souci Roads, Newlands and remains open from Monday to Sunday between 10 am to 6 pm. The entry fee for adults is R9, for kids R3 and alike others the entry is completely free for pensioners.
Trafalgar Swimming Pool
Beat the heat and enjoy at Trafalgar Swimming Pool in Woodstock before exploring the area’s colourful street art or sipping a sundowner at one of the local breweries. You could make a day of it and plan a picnic with your friends.
The pool is kid-friendly, with amenities to keep little ones entertained. It’s safe for swimming, with lifeguards on duty. The facilities also offer Kiddies pool along with Change rooms, Showers, Lifeguards, Ablution amenities, Picnic areas and Playground.

Located in Searle Street, Woodstock the pool opens at 10 am and closes at 6 pm, daily from Monday to Sunday. The entry is completely free for pensioners and charges R9 for adults and R3 for children.
