South Africa: The ADA Board of Trustees announced the appointment of Mr Siyabonga Mazibuko as the new Acting Chief Executive Officer.

Mr Siyabonga Mazibuko, who has been serving as the Chief Operations Officer of the organisation for the past 3 years, is no stranger to the different structures of agricultural structures.

He is a results-driven professional with 14 years of management experience in executing strategic action plans to support business goals. He also has a track record of proactive community engagement and delivery of successful development projects.


 

 


Paving the path to his career, Mr Mazibuko has worked as a senior lecturer at Cedara College, a Total Quality Assurance Manager and Deputy Principal at Fort Cox College of Agriculture and Forestry, a rector at the Inkosi Owen Sithole College of Agriculture prior to joining the Agribusiness Development Agency.

Welcoming the newly appointed Acting CEO, the ADA Board Chairperson, Mr Willies Mchunu, said, “We as the Board of ADA have full confidence that the organisation is in capable hands with Mr Mazibuko who ensures that there is Unity of Purpose in achieving the goals of the organisation while ensuring that is functioning properly.” Mr Mchunu went on to touch on the organisation’s values of Efficiency, Accountability, and Innovation, and he expressed his desire to see these being part of the daily running of operations.
