South Africa: The Annual Africa Tech Festival 2024 will be hosted at the Cape Town International Convention Centre. It is a four-day event, where more than 15,000 attendees from around the globe, with the purpose of connecting, to share insights will showcase African tech innovation.
Africa Tech Festival 2024 has officially kicked off on Nov 12, 2024 and will be observed till Nov 14, 2024. It will commemorate the 27 years of uniting global technology and telecom leaders, entrepreneurs and policymakers to drive digital transformation and innovation across Africa.
The event will conduct VIP & Partner Events from Nov 11 to 14, 2024 as well as Expo & Content Sessions from Nov 12 to 14, 2024 at CTICC.

Africa Tech Festival provides a 360 overview of how tech and strategy evolution is reshaping the diverse industry sectors of Africa that majorly consists of telecoms, financial services, healthcare, government, SME and start-ups along with retail, manufacture and beyond.
Director-General of the Department of Communications and Digital Technologies – Nonkqubela Jordan-Dyani said that the Africa Tech Festival presents a platform for different innovative minds. It encourages them to come together, to explore and exchange tech solutions for Africa and for the rest of the world.
He further stated that this global platform will serve them with an opportunity to learn best practices. It will also allow the SMEs to market their innovative solutions to over 15,000 visitors from across the globe.
DG Dyani highlighted that they are committed to ensure that Africa does not become a mere consumer of digital solutions only. They want to assure that it is developed elsewhere but with a meaningful participant in the digital economy by being a supplier of solutions and infrastructure that are already tried and tested in the shores. She also mentioned that they are looking forward to inviting the world to the shores.
