Celebrating the happiness on her Instagram handle on Monday morning, she explained her followers that she is the real woman and announced that the pictures will be available to her fans soon.

Bobrisky said, “You all claim to be real women, blab la bla, but I won hands down, so who is the real woman now? Queens like Bob don’t make noise, we win.”

As per the sources, Big Brother Naija ‘Level Up’ contestant Groovy won the “Best Dressed Male” Award.

Notably, Nigeria’s Law prohibits transgender identity and LGBTQ+ rights. The win of Bobrisky has attracted a lot of responses, some of which include Actress Dayo Amusan’s video, which she posted on her Instagram account.

In the video, Amusan said it was a mockery for the women who were present at the event. She expressed, “I was at a premiere of my colleague yesterday and they said the best dresser were to be picked as one female and one male. Don’t get me wrong, as the winner could be anyone but definitely not a crossdresser like Bobrisky. I mean, what is wrong with us? I don’t understand it.”

Dayo Amusan said that she could not imagine the judges disrespecting every woman who was there. “You had to pick a winner, one female best dressed and one male best dressed. But the officials spilled water at the efforts of all the women at the event by giving the best dressed female award to a crossdresser. I don’t understand, what is wrong with us?”

“If you feel you want to honour crossdressers, then you should have created their own category instead of disrespecting women by giving a crossdresser the best dressed female award,” said the actress.

Dayo Amusan is not the only one who reacted angrily to the award received by Bobrisky, many have expressed their rage as they don’t want women to get disrespected.

A person named Wealthy Mi wrote, “It is disappointing to see that out of all the elegantly dressed women present, a man was chosen as the best-dressed female.”

Mi added that the lack of judgement in the communities is concerning. The citizens seem to outshine the politicians, even in their foolishness.

Considerably, Nigeria and several other African countries are conservative in nature. Many described LGBTQ and lesbianism as anti-cultural and against religious beliefs.

In West African nations, Homosexuality is considered a crime. Since 2011, some developed countries have implemented laws that limit or prohibit general budget support to countries that restrict the rights of LGBTQ people.
