Popular musician and award-winning Afro Dancehall artist Freeman HKD is going to perform at the Zimbabwe Cultural and Musical Festival.
The festival is organised annually to showcase the rich cultural heritage and to create opportunities for Zimbabwean artists to perform and gain recognition in America.
The interaction between the artist and the fans is going to be beyond music, as America is the largest nation contributing to the growth of the entertainment industry.
The cultural event will be held on March 30, 2024 in Dallas, Texas, United States of America. It will be arranged by Xcelerate Enterprises.
While unveiling the same, Freeman HKD wrote, “USA I’m coming. On the 30th of March, I’ll be performing live in Dallas courtesy of Xcelerate Enterprises!!!”
The energy songwriter added, “Can’t wait to see you all my fans in the states, happiness trip hayo because this will be my first time performing to you, so make sure you all pull through, pakuda man to man.”
The cultural and music festival will be held at TBA. BRAAI (GOCH GOCH) will also be present there.

Along with Freeman HKD, the Zimbabwe Cultural and Musical Festival will also feature renowned musical artists such as Trevor Dongo, Tariro Gezi and DJ Levels.
Freeman HKD Boss hails from Emegy Sylvester Chizanga. The Zimdancehall artist rose to fame after the single Joina City.
The artist started his music career in 2009, and he recorded his first track, ‘Unondipa Rudo, ’ which was produced by WeMaNuff Nhubu.
Before becoming a recording artist, he was a professional footballer who played for Mwana Africa F.C. in the first-division league. He also worked as a butcher boy in Waterfall areas.
Freeman HKD continued to record more tracks as an underground artist that included Unondipa Rudo, Ellen, Mapatya, Mhuka Nhatu, Murondatsimba, Handichakuda and Ndoda.
The Afro artist also established a soccer team named ‘Gallis FC’ in April 2023. In September 2023, he also established another soccer team, ‘Gallis Legends, ’ whom he captains himself.
Currently, both teams do not play in any competitive league but they occasionally host and play in various tournaments.
