Zambia: The Ambassador of Zambia addressed China’s cultural heritage in Qufu in the Shandong Province of China.
Ambassador Ivan Zyuulu, on a memorable visit to Qufu, also the birthplace of Confucius, where he explored the different revered Confucius temple and the International Medal Institute, didn’t step back to participate in the Confucius Family Banquet.
During his visit to Qufu, he was honoured with the prestigious Confucius Medal of Honour, which will further deepen the friendship and bond the two nations share.
The Ambassador used tea as a medium for cooperation, a cornerstone of the Belt and Road Initiative implementation.
This collaboration between the two nations has further highlighted the potential for enhanced collaboration and cooperation in cultural exchange, which will deepen the bond.
The ties between Zambia and China are continuously deepening through initiatives like the Belt and Road Initiative. The presence of the Confucius Institute in Zambia shows an understanding of the commitment to enhanced exchange between Zambia and China.
The two nations have developed a strong leadership in governance, and China’s continuous assistance to Zambia should be applauded and appreciated.
China and Zambia cooperated in history during varied events like anti-colonial struggles, and close diplomatic ties were established soon after independence in 1964.

In the past, Zambia and China shared cultural and potential friendships. These ties would be strengthened with the collaboration of the two nations at different stages of manufacturing, agricultural and service sectoral growth.
Previously, Zambian President Hakainde Hichikema visited China in September to discuss the potential growth of the two nations and signed deals.
These deals signed by the dignitaries support Zambian priorities like job creation and reduced reliance on imports, and deals include Zambia’s potential to export commodities to China or other neighbouring countries.
