Nigeria: Buguma City Asari Toru Local government area recently elected their new Youth Council after a smooth and successful election. The Asari-Toru Local Government Area Chairman, Onengiyeofori George, inaugurated the Youth Executive Council.
Chairman George was happy that the community had conducted a smooth and peaceful election for the city. The Youth Executive Council consists of 16 members who have pledged to work for the betterment of the youth population of Buguma.
The George urged the newly inaugurated Exco to use the opportunity to come up with laudable youth initiatives that will promote peace and prosperity in the community. The Chairman of the Asari Toru Local Government Area asked the council to come up with good initiatives for the youth.
He further urged the council to work towards promoting peace and prosperity in the community. He asked the immediate past Youth Executives, led by Ajoiyibo George to share their experiences with the new Executives.
He tasked the youngsters to work together to take Buguma Community to greater heights. Meanwhile, the president of the newly elected Buguma Youth Council, Sotonye Princewill assured Executive Chairman that he would lead the council well.
Further, the Youth Council president pledged to work with his team to implement initiatives which would benefit all youth. He thanked the election commission led by Songo Amachree for ensuring a successful election process.
President Sotonye Princewill asked the vibrant youths of the community to join hands with the leadership. He pledged bring about the needed peace and development in Buguma Community as well as in Asari Toru Local Government Area.
