Manguang: Cllr Shine Banyane, ward Councillor of Manguang, thanked the Mangaung Metro Council Speaker and the Chairperson of ANC Mangaung Region Cllr. Lawrence Mathae and his office for giving donations to the country.
Councillor Shine Banyane said this donation was important to relieve the January stress on the residents of my ward, especially those disadvantaged households.”
Furthermore, he explained about the donations and food parcels, in which he continued by saying, the Speaker handed over food parcels to 600 households across Botshabelo’s 12 wards on Wednesday.”
The Speaker emphasised that this handover was made possible by assistance received from the business sector. “The City’s monies are geared at improving service delivery, from road infrastructure, refuse removal to sewer leakages, so we call upon the private sector to join us in our efforts to reach as many households as possible,” he said.

Residents seemed happy after receiving the donations. One of the resident said, “Reyaleboha haholo joo kethabile hotswa ho ntate mathae mmo le office yahae leho bomolegotla bohle kere modimo ale boloke alesireletse adule aleyetelletse pele kelememela sefahleho sahae setsamaye lelona hohle moo leyang teng joo lereyentse batho kadijo keya leboha ruri.”
“Why this guy esabe mayor because o capable and thinks out of the box. Why do fellow councillors not copy once and for all so that at least they can say something before their constituents? Good work, leader, and keep up good work at the right time, January,” said another user.
“Question Motoko is telling the truth, my ability is sad at all his parties, hit find other councillors and invite them…nothings, no copy please,” replied other users.
Another user said, “Question Motoko Mr Cllr Shine Banyane has really told himself to the public that God made him so and so…. I see elevation in his life and he deserves to occupy a high position. Indeed we have seen him and we believe in him.”
