Zimbabwe: A floating body was found in Mazowe Dam with the missing parts. The body was of an un-identifying person with the missing genitals and facial skin which was found floating in Mazowe Dam early this week.
According to the recent statement released by the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) spokesperson Paul Nyathi, the Police in Mazowe is doing the investigation and is involved in the circumstances which surrounds a case of suspected murder in which the body of a yet-to-be-identified man was found floating in Mazowe Dam on July 01.
ZRP further added that a stone was tied to the victim’s waist by using a rope and the body had a stab wound on the chest. They reported that the facial skin and private parts of the person were missing and asked that anyone who finds any information regarding that can report at the nearest police station, said Paul Nyathi.
Now finally, the body has been found with those missing facial skin and genitals. As a search was introduced in a gut-wrenching case of ritual killing.
The body of an unidentified male adult was found floating on Mazowe Dam, on Monday, July 01, 2024. The ZRP has confirmed the suspected murder and since then has launched a manhunt for the killers.
As per the sources, the incident has shocked the residents living in the Zimbabwe region. Founding a floating body on a Dam is not a good sign, as it dwells a sense of insecurity among the people.
Such incidents have also occurred before, as these were observed earlier too. The Murder cases are being reported of a ritual killer who is killing people in a same pattern with regular method, like removing facial skin and cutting out their genitals.
The sick minded suspect is still under investigation. A search warrant has been released for the culprit. As it is important to find him and punish for such cruelty.
