Pergo Arts Academy is a citizen-owned, female-run academy with a vision to nurture the artistic capabilities of young people in the local spectrum to propel them to soar on international stages. The Academy offers a variety of coordinated music as well as art lessons.

Under the music spectra, it hosts various monthly and termly lesson packages of Violin, Keyboard, Guitar, and Drum lessons. For its artistic side, classes on painting, drawing as well as Acting lessons are provided.

The Academy, established in 2020, is owned by Natasha and Dr Comfort, who are passionate about bridging the intricate link between music, creativity and an enhanced learning experience in efforts to develop well-rounded individuals who wield creativity as a ray of light in their path to excellence.

The Academy offers its lessons in Molapo Crossing Mall as well as in Phakalane, Honeycomb Hub. Lessons are offered on a private as well as communal basis to individuals above five (5) years of age.

On strides to expand the reach and diversity of the creative and performing arts hub in the country, the Academy hosts a variety of programs aimed at such.

These include its biannual painting and pottery sessions, where various collaborators and artists are invited to lead various clientele on the intricate nature and beauty of these crafts, providing a balance between theory and practical experience to enhance their appreciation of these dear arts.

Key to this is the Academy’s annual Talent Showcase and Orchestra Programme, where students from the Academy, those from affiliated academies, as well as talented members from the community of various ages, showcase their amazing talents to the watching public in the music and art spectrum.

All this is in an effort to create awareness of the critical role that the diversity of arts has on individuals and promote the need for more investment in this precious sphere.

Since its establishment, the Academy has been working with various schools in Gaborone, offering its services to amazing young, talented minds and has had its key players provide music entertainment to various private and corporate events.

Notably, this is the opportunity to offer instrumental music entertainment at the Miss Botswana 2022 Etiquette session facilitated by Ms Nora of Nora Cosmetics, as well as playing at various cross-cultural weddings in the country.

The Academy seeks to expand its reach in nurturing creative and intelligent minds who are ready to take up the local and international spectra by showcasing their amazing talents.
