Botswana (Moshupa): The President of Botswana, Dr Mokgweetsi Masisi, yesterday on Monday visited the family of Senthumoleng Senthumoleng in order to give condolences to the family.
Senthumoleng Senthumoleng was one of the workers in the President’s office in Moshupa. He passed away this month on 6 January.
During the visit to the family, President Masisi encouraged Boora Senthumoleng to depend on God during this time of sorrow because he is the only one who can massage them so that their souls won’t be punished.
He encouraged children to remain connected to living like their father Senthumoleng would wish to live happily without falling for souls. President Masisi explained that he worked with Senthumoleng for a reason before he became President. And he was the backbone of the President’s office as well as the Ministry of Government.
President Masisi also praised his nature, saying, “He was a gentle, calm, obedient and desirable person to work with.” Furthermore, “President Masisi explained and indicated that Senthumoleng’s death didn’t only affect the family, but also it is government lost.”
The family ambassador and the wife of Senthumoleng, Sebonego Barungwi, explained when Senthumoleng Senthumoleng died in his sleep.
On the day he passed away, he thought he was not feeling well and went to rape. Barungwi says Senthumoleng Senthumoleng has never woken up after that.
Senthumoleng Senthumoleng worked for different government departments, and he died serving at the Office of the President’s Projects, health and care ministry.
Residents and other party leaders are also giving condolences to the family and friends of Senthumoleng Senthumoleng. Surprisingly, the opposition also seemed sad and visited to the family of Senthumoleng Senthumoleng.
A political leader from Gaborone, Phatsimo Kennedy Eddy Serema, also gave his condolences to the family through his official social media account in which he said, “My condolences to the family, and a great thank you to our President for his warmth and presence.”
