Botswana Vice Prez Tsogwane commends Nambia, Kenya, for Forbes Summit Participation

Botswana: The Vice President, Slumber Tsogwane, commended the Vice President of Nambia, Nangolo Mbumba and the Deputy President of Kenya, Rigathi Gachagua, for participating in the ongoing Forbes Under 30 Summit Africa.

Botswana: The Vice President, Slumber Tsogwane, commended the Vice President of Nambia, Nangolo Mbumba and the Deputy President of Kenya, Rigathi Gachagua, for participating in the ongoing Forbes Under 30 Summit Africa.

When welcoming them this evening, Vice President of Botswana Tsogwane said their participations speak volumes about the importance of the welfare of the African youth. He said Botswana has strong diplomatic relations as well as the bonds of friendship that exist between Botswana and the two countries.

The Vice President of Namibia, Mbumba, applauded President Dr Mokgweetsi Masisi for hosting the summit for African youth, adding that most African countries are in attendance. He appreciated the lessons and knowledge they acquired from the summit.


 

 


Vice President of Nambia, Mbumba, said Namibia is committed to strengthening its friendship with Botswana. The two countries established diplomatic relations in 1990 after Namibia gained its independence.

The Deputy President of Kenya, Gachagua, commended Botswana for successfully hosting the Forbes Under 30 Summit Africa, adding that it is important to invest in the youth as they have great ideas and potential to grow the economy.

Kenya Deputy President Gachagua further said that as leaders, they have the responsibility to mentor the youth to grow the countries and the economy. He said the two countries will explore further opportunities that can be exploited for their mutual benefit.

Kenya Deputy President of the Republic of Kenya, Rigathi Gachagua and his wife, Dorcas Rigathi, yesterday morning paid a courtesy call on the President Dr Mokgweetsi Eric Keabetswe Masisi.

Welcoming Mr Rigathi and his delegates, President Masisi stated that Kenya and Botswana established their bilateral relations in 1966, and the cooperation between the two countries has blossomed over the years. He also congratulated the President of Kenya, William Ruto, for winning the elections last year and wished their government success.

Deputy President Gachagua thanked Botswana Government and Batswana for the warm welcome and commended them for successfully hosting the Forbes Under 30 Summit Africa. He said his government is committed to improving and strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries. Deputy President Gachagua and his wife are in Botswana to attend Forbes Under 30 Summit Africa.
