Botswana: Business Botswana opened the 17th National Business Conference (NBC) in Francistown on Sunday. The multi day event is being hosted in collaboration with the Ministry of Trade and Industry, The multi day event will be officiated by the Vice President of Botswana Slumber Tsogwane.
The event is hosted every year with the aim of bringing the industry and trade stakeholders together. The aim of the conference is to promote the development of the business and industrial sector of the nation’s economy.
Further, the programme also helps giving voice to all the members of the industry as they are allowed to voice their suggestions and opinions on the development of the industry. The officials have shared the images and videos from the official opening ceremony for the event.
The officials have shared that this year’s event was hosted with the private sector of the nation in focus. The officials have shared that this year’s conference, themed “Invigorating Economic Transformation through the Private Sector.”
According to the organizers of the conference, the event will bring together 500 top experts from both private and public sectors. The attendants of the 17th National Business Conference include several of the international participants.
The aim of the initiative is to discuss and shape Botswana’s economic future keeping in focus the industrial private sector of the nation. The conference aims to promote a private sector-led economy, in line with Ministry policies. Over the next two days, attendees will hear from distinguished speakers and engage in high-level dialogues.
The Ministry of Trade and Industry will also have a stall at the conference to showcase its services and products. The Ministry of Trade and Industry is open to gather feedback from stakeholders on doing business in Botswana.
