Calabash South Africa 2026 has been cancelled. The reason is very unusual and is beyond anyone’s control. As the famous band ‘Muse’ can no longer perform in the UAE, South Africa and India, the organisers have been unable to secure a suitable replacement headliner at this very short notice.
Considering this, Muse has issued an official statement and stated that, “Due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the control, they will be unable to proceed with the upcoming scheduled shows.”
“This has been a very difficult decision and one we did not take lightly. We’re truly sorry to everyone who purchased tickets and appreciate your understanding. Refunds will be available from the point of purchase. We hope to be back with you again very soon,” confirmed Muse
The fans who have purchased concert tickets, parking and park & ride tickets will automatically receive a full refund. The refunds have already started and should take up to approx. 5 to 10 business days to reflect in your account.

Reportedly, the Calabash South Africa 2026 music concert was going to entertain the South Africans with vibrant ad thrilling music events, to be observed on February 07, 2026 at FNB Stadium in Johannesburg and February 11, 2026 at DHL Stadium in Cape Town.
The event promised to showcase stunning performances by the sensational band ‘MUSE’. The concert was also going to welcome the popular musical groups such as A Day to Remember, Simple Plan and Nothing But Thieves. Whereas, the Prime Circle and Van Pletzen were suppose to perform only in Johannesburg and Die Heuwels Fantasies in Cape Town only.
This momentous gathering of international talent at the concert promised an unforgettable night that has now been cancelled which was going to be the premier live music event of the country.
