Social Media users are again trolling one of the contestants of Miss South Africa Top 30 finalist ‘Thulani Ndzotyana‘ to withdraw her name from the competition, stating that she allegedly defended her Pumas rugby player ex-boyfriend, ‘Khwezi Mafu’, when he was detained for rape in 2018.
According to the allegations, the player raped 18 years old woman on 28 December 2021 in KwaMagxaki, Gqeberha, when the couple went out for a date.
The practice of the former Blue Bulls Under-21 rugby loose-forward continues in September.
One of the public members took to support the social media and said that Ndzotyana took a stand for Mafu and rubbished the allegations against him, and then she went as far as ridiculing the complaint.
The lawyer Mafu, Danie Gouws, did not comment and said the matter was sub judice.
Ndzotyana confirmed that she dated the 24-year-old when the charges of rape surfaced. But, they broke up when he was detained by police.

I know both parties are involved and decided not to engage until the ongoing legal process has run its course. I have not been in a relationship or touch with him since he was arrested.
I have never spoken about it at all except to close family members.
She stated that she was trolled and cyberbullied about the rape case when she has crowned Miss Mamelodi Sundowns and was advised not to comment.
She added that she never commented on the incident until now and will not comment in the future.
