Cape Town is celebrating 15 years of carnival by introducing WowZA! Campaign in the Mother City and the Cape Town Carnival is cherishing it in amazing ways.
Cape Town’s magic is in the air. It is that feeling of anticipation and spark of excitement that one feels on warm summer nights. Standing on Camps Bay Beach with the twinkling restaurant lights and the stunning mountain backdrop, the Cape Town Carnival feels something else.
Interestingly, everything feels connected in the carnival moment. The people, the sounds and the beauty just link so well. To create the same vibrant atmosphere the City of Cape Town along with WowZA! is bringing that essence back with the Cape Town Carnival 2025 as it celebrates 15 years of unforgettable moments.
In order to blend imagination, creativity and to hype the South African spirit, WowZA! celebrates the glamour and magic of Cape Town. The celebration features each float and group of performers.
These performers will showcase the magic of the city Cape Town, its culture, tradition, heritage and the vibrant energy in the upcoming event. This year, the Cape Town Carnival will turn up the joy, laughter and fun with a touch of glamour, that is all wrapped in the wonder of the Mother City’s Magic.
At the Carnival the organisers will officially honour Cape Town, South Africa and the incredible journey that they have covered the past 15 years. The organisers expressed, “Let’s celebrate 15 years of unforgettable moments and the magic that makes Cape Town the heart of it all.”
The Carnival organisers also extended their gratitude to INVSN Agency for gifting them the incredible artwork that forms the basis of the WowZA! Campaign. The agency really captures the essence of WowZA! Campaign and the celebration of 15 incredible years.
INVSN is a Swedish post-punk music band from Umea. It was originally formed as The Lost Party. It was a solo project for Dennis Lyxzen who is already known for the punk bands Refused and The (International) Noise Conspiracy.
Notably, the early music for the project was more folk related and was softer than his prior music endeavours.
