Zimbabwe: The Zimbabwean Football Association CAPS United, on behalf of the Board, Management, and Staff, has released an official note to express their gratitude to the fans who supported the work of Rufaro Stadium.
Along with the note they have also shared a quote by Rohini Mundra that says, “A Great Team Makes Successful Business.”
While sharing the note, they also wrote that a good deed is more valuable than an expensive ointment. Fans will always find a way to show support for football, making way for a victorious season.
In the official note, the CAPS United wrote, “On the behalf of the CAPS United Board, Management and Staff, we wish to convey our sincerest gratitude to the National Supporters Association Executive (NEC).”

Along with presenting their gratitude to the NEC the football club has also added, “the Supporters Chapters Executive and all the Caps United Supporters who initiated, collaborated and participated during the clean-up and improvement of Rufaro Stadium.”
The CAPS United mentioned that their efforts and personal resources invested during the event has complimented the City of Harare and the Caps United family and ensured that the facility is improved and ready for use during the matches.
“We are so grateful as an institution and we keep urging all supporters to keep up with the good initiatives and the good work,” added the football club.
The private football club has also expressed through the note, “We remain hopeful that with all these efforts Rufaro will be certified.”
Once certified, we encourage all supporters to come in numbers and rally behind their beloved Makepekepe during the next matches that will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2024 with Bikita Minerals FC and on Sunday, March 31, 2024 with Arenel. Both the matches will be held at the Rufaro Stadium.

The officials ended the note with the quote, “Everyone wants Football in Harare, We all want Football in Harare, CAPS United wants Football in Harare.”
To the quote it was added that, “We remain hopeful that Rufaro will be opened for all football matches.”
The note followed the incident in which the fans of CAPS United FC joined their hands together to finish the work of the Rufaro Stadium. The football club’s supporters have decided to help Harare and finish the renovations at the sports stadium.
Considerably, in an unprecedented move, manpower was offered by the supporters of the CAPS United where the group of individuals have travelled long distances to watch their favourite team playing at ‘home’ CAPS United fans have decided to have the Rufaro Stadium ready by Thursday, March 28, 2024.
