The organisation was officially established on May 05, 1964 but then functioned informally in 1987, when the Association of Honorary Rangers was formed with a collective agreement of 301 founding members.
This year, the theme was mainly focused on the local oysters that grow along the coastline. Moreover, the oysters have been harvested by the Oysters Pickers of Sedgefield along the coastline for over 100 years. The officials desire to share their story this year in 2024.
The festival will be an exciting programme including spectacular trail runs, challenging bike races, canoe races, street soccer, martial arts and more.
Simola Hillclimb will be live-steamed this year, and people can watch the event live on Speed Festival. It will be hosted radio DJ and F1 presenter Sasha Martinengo and Cars.co.za presenter Ciro de Siena.
