City Knysna has welcomed media from all around the country this week who visited the Knysna or the Sedgefield area to promote the Knysna Oyster Festival.
Reportedly, loads of activities have appeased the sport lovers, the wine drinker, the art enthusiasts, the foodie, the music lover and more.
This year, the theme was mainly focused on the local oysters that grow along the coastline. Moreover, the oysters have been harvested by the Oysters Pickers of Sedgefield along the coastline for over 100 years. The officials desire to share their story this year in 2024.
Along with this, the neighbouring town, Sedgefield will be hosting the Eden Classic Car Show on June 23, 2024 at the Scarab Market Sedgefield.
At the event, vintage and classic cars will be displayed. It is going to be a one-day event that will take place between 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Furthermore, the Sedge Food & Wine market will be hosted at the Scarab Village, on June 26, 2024. It will be a day time event which will have a variety of slow cooked food, a beer garden, wine tasting and flea market activities.
A good time will be celebrated at the Knysna Oyster Festival presented by the Food Lover’s Market from June 21 to 30, 2024.
Considerably, the programme lines up for an electrifying sports, food and lifestyle events which promises to captivate athletes, thrill seekers, spectators and participants alike.
People are urged to Lace-up for the Knysna Forest Marathon on June 22, 2024; pedal the Knysna Cycle Tour from 29 and 30 June, 2024; or simply enjoy the abundance of activities.
