The City of Cape Town promises to bring the festive cheer with Helderberg Night Market, to be held on Dec 18 and 19, 2025 next week at the Strand Square in Strand.

The Subcouncil-8 of the City of Cape Town is hosting the Helderberg Night Market, which is set to transform Strand Square, located at the corner of Main Road and Fagan Street, into a bustling hub of entertainment, culinary delights and artisan treasures.
Considering the upcoming festivity, Member of the Mayoral Committee for Corporate Services – Alderman Theresa Uys said that they are looking forward to host this market every year.
The festival is always a highlight to create a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere at the night market, and it brings as much pleasure to see as how the turnout showcases the unique spirit of the Helderberg region. Uys encouraged the residents and visitors in the area not to miss out on the festivities and to support the local businesses over these two days.
She asked to bring the whole family for a night of fun and festivities. The market is designed to create a welcoming and enjoyable environment for visitors of all ages and from anywhere.
The Helderberg Night Market will be observed on Dec 18 and 19, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Strand Square (Pick n Pay Centre), Corner of Main Road and Fagan Street, Strand.
