China is constructing a new sports stadium – Mandjafa Stadium in N’Djamena, Chad of North-Africa. The stadium is a gift from China that can hold the 33,000 capacity, of audience at a time.
Reportedly, the sports complex has been built after signing an agreement. The agreement was signed on the same day by the economic counsellor. It was signed at the Chinese Embassy in Chad and the Director of Chad’s National Sports Office – Youssouf Djibrine.
Djibrine said that, the stadium will respond to the sporting needs of Chadians, which will fulfil their desire to have a specific sports field for playing soccer, and other games. The stadium will fill an existing vacuum in the area of sports infrastructure in Chad.
The Director extended his gratitude to China for the tireless efforts that were made until the signing of the agreement for the construction of the stadium, which he noted, that Chadian youth has eagerly waited for the complex.
Currently, China is in the preparation of multi-billion-dollar splurge on new football stadiums, ramping up the ambitions to be a superpower in the sports and for hosting the World Cup as early as possible, in 2030.
Building spree is taking place despite of the coronavirus pandemic that has brought much of the world to a standstill, ravaging the economies and putting live sport on hold. With the outbreak receding in China, it has emerged in December, Chinese Super League champions Guangzhou Evergrande last week, began with the construction on their 12 billion yuan ($1.7 billion) new home.
Evergrande Group of China is aiming high to meet the desires of China in constructing the sport stadiums in the own country and as well as in Chad too.
The building of sports complex as a gift, will open the doors of China and Chad for each other, strengthening the bilateral relations and making strong social connections.
For a country like Chad it is really a big thing that China has took the initiative to support them in increasing their sports activities and bringing up more players and talented ones to participate in games and sports or in athletics.
