During the visit, the mobile office team of the Customer Relations Department of Cape Town will assist the residents with logging queries and service requests electronically.

Cape Town: The City of Cape Town will be organising a Mobile Office along with the municipal services to the Wallacedene Hall in Wallacedene on Thursday. Similarly, the next session will be conducted in the Scottsdene Youth Centre in Kraaifontein on Friday.

The officials have encouraged the residents to take advantage of the opportunity and take benefits of the Mobile Office.

The schedule decided for the Mobile Office sessions, are as follows:

  • In Wallacedene, the Mobile Office session will be conducted on Thursday, March 07, 2024, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Wallacedene Hall on Boesak Road.
  • The next Mobile Office session will be conducted in Scottsdene on Friday, March 08, 2024, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Scottsdene Youth Centre on Eoan Avenue.

The City of Cape Town will conduct its session in Wallacedene and Scottsdene, next week. During the visit, the mobile office team of the Customer Relations Department of Cape Town will assist the residents with logging queries and service requests electronically.

Reportedly, the customers can also engage with the city on a wide range of non-emergency enquiries such as rates, sewage, electricity, water, refuse collections and all other enquiries related to the account.

Considering the upcoming sessions, the Member of the Mayoral Committee for Corporate Services Alderman – Theresa Uys said that they hope to see as many residents as possible, this coming Thursday and Friday.

Uys expressed, “I really want to encourage residents to take advantage of this opportunity by engaging with the staff who will avail themselves for the morning.”

She added that the City’s mobile office makes a difference in the sense that they do not have to worry themselves about travelling to the near municipal office.

“Those who wish to make use of the City’s services on these days must remember to bring along their ID or municipal accounts to help ease the process,” said Alderman Theresa Uys.
