St Kitts and Nevis: The head of the Citizenship by Investment Unit, Michael Martin, has been working diligently to take the Citizenship by Investment Programme of the country to great heights.
Recently, in one of a seminar he pledged to enhance the world’s longest-running Citizenship by Investment Programme.
Citizenship by Investment Programmes of St Kitts and Nevis is the oldest programme that has been operating for the past four decades. The programme started in 1984, has enabled investors and their families to acquire legal citizenship in one of the Caribbean’s most picturesque destinations.
Under Martin’s leadership, the Programme has become the preferred choice for investors. St Kitts and Nevis has introduced several new features to the Programme.
Some of the most notable developments are:
– Enhanced security capacity
– More robust due diligence procedures
– Mandatory interviews
Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, Terrance Drew, also emphasised the significance of the Citizenship by Investment Programme (CBI).
CBI head Michael Martin left no stone unturned in order to promote the CBI Programme in the world. He also posts pictures of St Kitts and Nevis on his official social media page. Not only does he post pictures and stories, but he also quizzes his followers about the location in the picture caption.
He fosters interaction with his online community by reverting to the comments of the people about the questions asked.
Martin also organised roadshows for St Kitts and Nevis’ Citizenship by Investment (CBI) Programme in Dubai and Asia last year, inviting top intermediaries from the industry. He also organised lunches for the immigration agents. During which, he shared some crucial information.
CIU head Martin also introduced some additional steps to enhance the security and safety of both the people of St Kitts and Nevis and potential Asian investors.
