Dominica: PM Roosevelt Skerrit’s press conference scheduled for Jan 16, at 10am

Roseau, Dominica: Prime Minister Skerrit has scheduled a press conference for Monday, January 16, 2023, at the Ministry of Finance Conference Room. It will begin at 10:00 am, and he has requested that all citizens stay tuned for news concerning matters of national importance.

Roseau, Dominica: Prime Minister Skerrit has scheduled a press conference for Monday, January 16, 2023, at the Ministry of Finance Conference Room. It will begin at 10:00 am, and he has requested that all citizens stay tuned for news concerning matters of national importance.

The conference will include conversations on some important matters, and PM Roosevelt Skerrit will also update the Dominica government’s new policies. He will also discuss the upcoming initiatives the Dominica government will soon launch in the country. 

Prime Minister Dr Roosevelt Skerrit has invited citizens through social media to join him at a press conference. He said, “Greetings, everyone! I invite you to tune in for an update on matters of national importance.”

As per reports, the Minister for National Security and Legal Affairs, Rayburn Blackmoore, will be explaining the updates about the E-Passport and the E-Passport Issuing System.

He will give out all the necessary details concerning the E-passport and the E-passport distribution process of the Commonwealth of Dominica.

Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit stated that the public could access the live press conference via the FB page of the Prime Minister and GIS Dominica, as well as the YouTube page of the Dominica government, at 10:00 am.

Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit will also discuss the country’s financial aspects and declare the initiatives for boosting its economy at the conference. The press conference will also focus on the latest travel information.

GIS Dominica’s official page on Facebook also posted an update about the Press Conference of PM Roosevelt Skerrit and also invited the citizens to come and join them in a live telecast from Facebook and Youtube. 

At the press conference, PM Roosevelt Skerrit will also discuss the eighteen housing units distributed by PM in Bataca and Sineku, as well as the housing units built as part of the climate-resilient housing revolution program.

Moreover, Dominica has developed considerably, especially under the leadership of PM Roosevelt Skerrit, as he launched various development plans, securities and strategies for the country’s different sectors.

Recently, the Dominica government approved a contract to restore the lighting of the Windsor Park Sports Stadium. The passage of Hurricane Maria severely damaged the Stadium, for which the government has allocated more than 8 million dollars to renovate.
