Dominica: The Sports Division Secondary Schools Football Competition resumed on Friday, 6th January 2023, after the Christmas break.

At Newtown in the U17 Division, the Portsmouth Secondary School defeated the Goodwill Secondary School by a score of 6-4.

Je’dyan Lockhart scored a brace (2 goals), with Kishon Valerie, Jeriah Lewis, Cliff Simon and Quincy Gross contributing one goal each for Portsmouth Secondary School.


 

 


D’andre Peltier, Diamond Dominique, Josimar Gustave and Okang Xavier scored one goal each for Goodwill Secondary School.

In the doubleheader at Portsmouth in the U17 Division, the Isaiah Thomas Secondary School made light work of Saint Mary’s Academy by five goals to nil. Johnsly Meliard scored a brace (2 goals), and Chinna Anthony, Dervaugh Jno Rose and Jaheem Cuffy, with one goal each, completed the scoring for Isaiah Thomas Secondary School.

In game two in the U20 Division the AcademiX School of learning won by 3-1, over the North East Comprehensive School.

Scoring for AcademiX were Ricardo Leblanc, Kadeem Moses and Malik Dublin, with one goal each. Tyrese Carbon scored the consolation goal for North East Comprehensive School.

The Sports Division Dominica Football competition resumed on Friday, 6th January 2023, with a doubleheader at the StockFarm Complex.

In the doubleheader at the StockFarm Complex in the U15 Division, the Castle Bruce Secondary School defeated the Dominica Grammar School by three goals to 2. Allison Gasper, Yannick Vigilante and Nickeyel Laurent scored one goal each for Castle Bruce Secondary.

Chance Marshall and Geovanni George scored one goal each for Dominica Grammar School.

In the U20 Division, the Dominica Grammar School had no answer for the Dominica State College as they were defeated by three goals to nil. Lebron Marshall, Felix Anslem and Keeyan Thomas scored for Dominica State College.
