Dominica: The Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Dominica, Roosevelt Skerrit, declared that individuals holding Dominica passports will no longer need to present embarkation and disembarkation forms when travelling. This new policy will apply to both arrival and departure procedures.
During a bi-monthly press conference, Prime Minister of Dominica, Roosevelt Skerrit, gave this decision, which will be applicable from March 6, 2023.
Embarkation Form
Every traveller must complete a document before embarking on their journey, which includes details such as their name and gender, date and place of birth, nationality, and passport information.
Disembarkation Form
A disembarkation form is a kind of legal document used by immigration authorities in many countries which gives them information about incoming passengers not provided by the passenger’s passport (such as criminal record, health, where their stay is, and many more).
According to the statement of PM Skerrit, now the Dominica government will provide new simplified forms for every visitor who visits Dominica. The forms will come into effect from next month, April 2, 2023. These new forms will be available online, and they will be filled electronically, and a QR code will be presented to authorities at the ports of entry via mobile devices.
The Dominican government desires both citizens and tourists to complete the Customs Declaration Form, with the goal of simplifying entry procedures, minimizing difficulties for individuals, and enhancing operational effectiveness across different entry points.
The Dominica government shows its interest in heading towards the digitalization of every government process and making Dominica entirely digitized. This government step will make many formalities simple and easy and save a lot of time for nationals and visitors.
The Commonwealth of Dominica has moved forward on digitizing as they are ready to introduce their E-passports.

HOW TO APPLY
- Visit the passport application form by visiting www.dominica.gov.dm/forms. These forms will also be available at the Immigration Office in Roseau, Marigot Sub-Treasury and the Portsmouth Sub-Treasury.
- Then the applicant has to submit the fees ($150 – for adults | $75 for children under 16) at the Treasury or via e-Payment at www.epayment.dominica.gov.dm.
- In the end, the applicant has to submit the application form and have to attach all relevant documents to the Immigration office:
-Marriage certificate (if married) Payment Receipt
-Two passport-sized facial photos, Birth certificate
