Africa is famous for its amazing tourist places that it is on everyone’s travel list. Egypt, South Africa, Tanzania, Mauritius etc. always are the places which travellers pick to explore.
Mount Kilimanjaro of Tanzania has been ranked as the second-best photography destination in the world. Earlier, in April 2025 the mountain was given a composite score of 97.3 out of 100, despite of being limited to just 50,000 visitors annually. Every year, the iconic Tanzanian peak continues to draw global admiration.

But traveling isn’t cheap, if one is planning to visit some of the popular tourist attractions around the world. The average entry fee for famous landmarks can cost from $30 to even more than hundred dollars per traveller. Many travellers will still pay the fee in order to experience the sites personally and click a photograph.
Recently done study by Heepsy, looked at fifty of the most popular tourist attractions to determine the most expensive spots the tourists have snapped a photo of. The study looked at the total cost of entrance to the biggest tourist attractions as well as the things such as search volumes and the number of visitors each site sees in a given year.
The study welcomed the considerations from Dubai’s Burj Khalifa to London’s Big Ben, and awarded them as the best Most Expensive Tourist Photos destinations.
As per Heepsy, Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania might only receive 50,000 visitors annually but its high cost of entry boosts it high on the list, as a single entrance fee costs $70 per visitor. The location also saw a total of 5.5 million searches every year by travellers hoping to visit its natural splendour.
