The Mayor of Idemili South local government Mayor, Amaka Obi (Iyom Ife-Abata) has taken to the stage to pledge her support to the people living with disabilities. The Mayor Made these remarks when the local government area was commemorating the day of celebration.
The Mayor said that she will continue to work for the wellbeing of all the people in the country. The leader has pledged to refrain from promoting any discrimination for the people living with disabilities.

The leader shared that they are joining the rest of the world commemorated 2024 International Day Of Persons With Disabilities. She expressed that her commitment to serving the people of the community remains unwavering.
She recalled her commitment to the well-being of the physically challenged persons in the council area. The people of the community have also joined the commemoration of the International day of the people living with disabilities.
