St. Kitts and Nevis Investment Gateway Summit 2024 observed Day-03 events at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort on Friday, July 12, 2024. The third day was filled with vibrant and cultural performances that entertained the audience present there.

It was an amazing experience that satisfied the quest of audience after the conclusion of Day-02 that what Investment Gateway Summit 2024 will hold next for them.

The most captivating segment of the event was a special performance by the artists, which was a cultural presentation, based on the theme ‘Mother Earth is Dying’.

It was a dynamic showcase of expressive movements and poignant storytelling that depicted the urgent message of the environmental awareness and preservation.

Third-day of IGS 2024 also included panel discussions, where they networked and connected with the global economic investors. The eve was packed with excitement and live entertainment that led up to the Gala Dinner.

The day concluded with a magnificent Gala Dinner. The exclusive event invited very important personalities (VIPs) with a special invitation only. The dinner was held under the esteemed patronage of Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew, where he brought together the distinguished guests for a memorable evening of celebration.

During the Lunch-Break at the IGS-2024, the attendees were treated to a delightful instrumental showcase. The session offered an opportunity to relax, recharge and enjoy the company fellow delegates amidst the stimulating atmosphere of the summit. The Gala dinner was a moment to appreciate both culinary delights and cultural harmony through music.

Investment Gateway Summit 2024 consisted of an enlightening presentation on Sustainable Tourism which was presented by Ms. Goldha Franks from St. Kitts Tourism Authority. The day was filed with highly productive sessions at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort & The Royal Beach Casino.

The event also took a tour to Caribelle Batik and Old Road Rum. The visitors embarked on an enriching ‘Finding Kittitian Gems’ excursion, which was a featured and a guided tour to the same. It was a unique experience that offered insights into Kittitian culture, craftsmanship and heritage.

However, at Caribelle Batik, the visitors witnessed the intricate artistry of batik making, learning about the traditional craft that reflected the vibrant colours and patterns of the island. The tour continued with a further visit to Old Road Rum, where we explored the rich history and production techniques behind Kittitian rum.

IGS 2024 Day-03 also conducted a panel discussion over ‘Navigating Integrity: Strategies for Effective Due Diligence and Risk Management with the Advent of Artificial Intelligence,’ moderated by Leah Chaderton. The discussion included the views of the experts such as Karen Kelly who is the Vice President and Global Head of Investment Migration, Eddy Leviten – Chief Technology and Marketing Officer and Fabienne de Blois – Associate Director.

Panel Discussion-02 was also conducted, which was on topic, ‘Investing in Technologies for Enhancing Food Production and Security,’ and was moderated by Daniel Arthurton. The discussion grabbed the key insights from the panellists Miguel Flemming – Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Agriculture St. Kitts and Dr. Ricardo Neil from the St. Kitts and Nevis Robotics Association.
