Squid Game Season 3 definitely made us believe that it was the last season but wait it isn’t over yet! We’re just beginning with the Phase-1. A post is going viral all over the internet as it claims to reveal other parts of the Squid Game Verse Phase-1.
The Post related to Squid Game Project of Phase-1 unveils:

- Squid Game 1987 – Winter 2026
- Squid Game 28th – Spring 2027
- and, Squid Game World – Winter 2028
As of now, the project collection is a called Squid Game Cinematic Universe (SGCU), which includes all this as a part of a major production following the Korean Series Squid Game, produced by Netflix Originals.

The post is raging the doubt that it might come up with various other phases of squid game as it is just phase-1.
Another post on social media claims that Squid Game is getting it’s American version soon. As Netflix confirmed that the production will begin this December in year 2025. The filming is expected to take place in Los Angeles.
As per the reports, David Fincher is involved which means that the series could take a dark and grounded direction. Furthermore, it won’t be a copy-paste or exact duplicate story, as this will going to be a completely new version, aiming to bring the same tension, but with a different cultural lens.

Remember how, the Season 3 of Squid Game ended its last clip displaying the Americans playing Ddakji game, as if giving a hint towards launching Squid Game’s USA version.
Recalling the Squid Game series, the show began with a story of Korean man who is fed up of dealing with his poverty and gathering similar people who are dealing with different situations in their life.
Then they are taken to the hidden island away from the world and play children’s games, turning it into a real life do or die way. The collection of three seasons of Squid Game Korean series is based on this plot, however it is not yet unveiled, what the other versions will include, will it also consider the games or some treasure or will be a bit darker involving the action crime scenes.
