The videos display the vibrant environment of the music concert conducted by Jah Prayzah. It made everyone crazy present there as the show continues ladies at the Sunday event continued to enjoy the music show.
A special event organized for ladies, Doek & Slay was hosted at the Alex Sports Club in Harare that began on 11:00 a.m. and continued till the concert ended.
The event featured artists such as Jah Prayzah and Travellers Band that rocked the evening with their thrilling performances.
The event is organized regularly only for the ladies, so that they can enjoy and have a lifetime experience.
Doek & Slay is an organization that arranges events especially for the women only. The Doek & Slay is the safest space for ladies where they can slay, unite and flourish in Doeks.
The Doek & Slay is the new pastime for ladies, and in fact a dress code was also pre-decided for the attendees that may change from one edition to another or different colour codes.
The specially organized events for the ladies have become a culture. For every Sunday, after attending the Church prayers, a pack of women with their picnic baskets and cooler boxes visit to the event.
As they dress up in the decided colour of the day and are also allowed to wear their Doeks. The doeks are a special clothing item and a fashion followed in South Africa which consists of a square cloth that is mainly worn by African women to cover their heads, especially to indicate their married status.
Earlier, there was no craze of the event in the capital city, Harare but the organizers have taken it all around Zimbabwe. The Doek & Slay ensured that women from across all walks of life have experienced the fun.
Some of the previous editions of Doek & Slay events were held successfully in Bulawayo, Gweru, Kadoma and Mutare. Another segment of the Sunday event will be conducted on August 11, 2024 in Harare.
