The well-known rapper celebrity Jay-Z is facing allegations of sexual assault by the same girl who accused Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs. The victim claimed through her allegations that this all happened with her at an after party in 2000.
Reportedly, the lawsuit was initially filed against Combs in October, but later on Dec 8, 2024 the woman added that Shawn Carter, who is a popular rapper and businessman Jay-Z, as a defendant in the civil lawsuit. Carter is the first celebrity who is accused of sexual assault in connection to Combs case.
As per the reports, American Rapper Jay-Z is accused of raping a 13-year-old girl in 2000 after the MTV Video Music Awards alongside Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs. The accuser is identified as ‘Jane Doe’ and mentioned that the assault happened at an after-party.
Considering the lawsuit against them, both men deny the allegations. The lawsuit claims that the girl was dropped off at the VMAs at Radio City Music Hall by a friend. At that time, she did not have a ticket and approached various limousine drivers to try to gain access to the show or after party.
One driver then allegedly, told Doe that he works for Combs and she completely fits what Diddy was looking for. The driver later picked her up and after 20 minutes she was dropped off at a white house with a u-shaped driveway.
Afterwards, the girls was forced to sign a document that she believed to be a non-disclosure agreement. She was then allegedly offered with a drink that made her feel dizzy light-headed and felt that she needs to lie down.
Shortly after that both P Diddy and Jay-Z entered the room and P Diddy told her, “You are ready to party!” Doe submitted her statement that alleges Carter removed her clothes, held her down and raped her while Combs and an unnamed female celebrity watched, all this happening. She added that Combs also raped her as Carter and the woman looked on.
After the assault, somehow she collected her clothes and ran to the first nearest filling station she found, where she called her father.
In his defence, Jay-Z said that these allegations are so heinous in nature that he implores to file a criminal complaint and not a civil one!
Jay-Z added that whomever would commit such a crime against a minor should be locked away. “The alleged victims would deserve real justice if that was the case,” said the rapper.
The ‘Bonnie & Clyde’ hit singer criticised the lawyer – Tony Buzbee who filed the suit and said, “My heart and support goes out to true victims in the world, who have to watch how their life story is being dressed in costume for profitability, by the ambulance chaser in a cheap suit.”
