Botswana: Kweneng Regional Football Association has recently concluded the fifteenth week of their games. The previously top ranked teams, Majweng SC and Sanyane Celtics have retained their place in the weekly table.
The matches which were previously postponed due to bad unfavourable weather in Week 10 were rescheduled to be held on February 3 and February 4.
The weekend games were hosted in various locations across Botswana and resulted in some enjoyable matches between the sixteen teams. The Majweng SC team, which has been sitting on the top of the weekly log standings for over four weeks, retained their position in this final week.
Out of the fifteen matches that they played against their opponents, the team won ten matches and ended the remaining five matches in a draw. Majweng won their final match against Gabane United.
Notably, the toppers of the weekly rankings have not lost any matches in the Division 1 tournament.
Meanwhile, the Sanyane Celtics, the former toppers of the weekly ranks, have maintained their position in the second place. The team has won nine of the fifteen matches they played in the tournament.
The Celtics played against the underdog Blue Aces in their final match. The team gave the second-best team in the Division 1 Tournament tough competition and ended the game with a draw, nil.
The team at the bottom of the weekly table, Mega Tornado never won a single match of the tournament. They ended two matches in a draw and lost the remaining 13 matches of the tournament.
