South Africa: The head of the KwaZulu Natal Department of Education Nkosinathi Ngcobo visited the Dlangezwa High School. The high school comes under King Cetshwayo District in the province. The head of the Department visited the school to monitor the National Senior Certificate examinations.

Hundreds of students across the province are currently sitting for their National Senior Certificate examinations. The education department of KwaZulu Natal is responsible to make sure that the examinations are organized in a safe and fair manner.

The officials of the Department have been visiting the various schools in the province to monitor the examination. The members of the department have confirmed that 123 students from the Kwadlangezwa area are sitting for the examinations.

The school authorities accorded a warm welcome to the head of the department. The students also received the HOD’s words or wisdom and advise seriously. The department of Education has shared several images from Nkosinathi Ngcobo’s visit to the school.

The officials also shared that the visit is a part of the King Cetshwayo monitoring process. The officials have shared that it is important for the students to perform well in thee NSC examinations.

The examinations are a crucial part of the students’ academic career. The results from these examinations not only reflect on the quality of school education, but also the capability of the students.

These results are crucial for the students who want to pursue further education down the road. The examination is being invigilated by a team that is being led by the principal of the Dlangezwa High School.

The chief invigilator Bheki Gumede is responsible for making sure that all the students in the district do not use undue means of cheating. DDG: Institutional Development Support, Weziwe Hadebe also visited a school in the Pinetown District to monitor the examinations.

During Day 4 of the examinations, the DDG was accompanied by Pinetown’s Acting District Director, Sbongile Nkosi-Tembe. She urged thee students to constantly prioritize their studies and perform well in the NSC examinations.
