Malawi: The Lilongwe Police Force is looking for Majid and Ackim Nyirongo who are suspected to have murdered Alfred Dauson. The police force has launched an official manhunt to track down the suspects after they left

The two were also accompanied by a 38-year-old man, Tsanzo Mazengela. The three suspects are believed to have robbed Dauson of an amount of K25,000.

After the robbery, the suspects allegedly killed him through strangulation. The circumstances of the murder remain unclear, as the crime may have been premeditated.

Reports suggest that the incident happened when he was going back home from his workplace on Friday. Postmortem results indicate the deceased succumbed to suffocation. The deceased’s phone was located, which led to the capture of Mazengela.

Mazengera hails from Kalata Village, and the murder victim is from Kabela Village, all from Traditional Authority Makwangwala in Ntcheu District.

The officials have interrogated the suspect, who is currently in their custody, and revealed the names of his accomplices. The officials have shared the images of the suspects who are on the run to warn the people of the country.

The members of the community have have pledged to help the Lilongwe Police Force in hunting down the suspects in the country. They have asked the authorities to provide more information about the case, including the last name of one of the suspects.

The other users have condemned the act of violence for the sake of money. One of the users shared their views on the situation, saying So a life gone because of 25,000 MK

Other social media users extended their heartfelt condolences on the death of the victim and wished for strength for the grieving family. One of the social media users called out the culprits of the murder saying “What have you done to Where have you lost your humanity?”

Another user commented that the amount of K25,000 would be divided among three, which means a person’s life is lost for everyone to receive 8333.
