Zimbabwe: The BCCI (Board of cricket Council India) in association with Zimbabwe Cricket and Zimbabwe Tourism, organised a Wild Life Tour for the Indian Cricket Team and their families in Harare.
Recent winner of ICC T20 World Cup, the Indian Cricket Team enjoyed their time at Wildlife Tour in the Zimbabwe capital, ahead of their 3rd T20I match against the Zimbabwe Cricket Team.
Considering this, BCCI shared the relatable photographs from the young brigade’s trip to the Wildlife Park. The Men in Blue team spent a day in woods, overlooking the wild animals. After their visit, the players looked rejuvenated and refreshed.
The tour was arranged after the Indian team played their first two matches on two simultaneous days and had a three-gap between the second and the third T20I cricket match.
It was a wise use of the time by the players and the coaching staff, as they made a full use of the time and visited the Wildlife Park. The players were accompanied by their families, as they took the snapshots of elephants, giraffes, deer and other wild animals. The guys looked all smiles as they posed together for a group picture.
While sharing the group photo on social media, the BCCI captioned under the post, “The BCCI, along with Zimbabwe Cricket and Zimbabwe Tourism had organised a Wild Life Tour for the Indian Cricket Team & their families in Harare.”
As per the sources, the Indian men’s cricket team is in Zimbabwe these days to play the five-match T20I series against the hosts. Shubhman Gill led the side suffer a shocking defeat by 13 runs in the series opener played at Harare Sports Club on Saturday, July 06, 2024.
However, they staged a superb comeback in the second match and won it by 100 runs on Sunday, July 07, 2024.
Notably, the third T20I is scheduled to take place at the same venue on Wednesday, July 10, 2024. And ahead of the 3rd T20I match, Indian players and their family members decided to take a Wild Life Tour in Harare on Monday, July 08, 2024.
The BCCI took to their ‘X’ account (formerly known as twitter) to share pictures of the tour. The Indian players also shared pictures and videos from their official X and Instagram handles, which are going viral now on the internet.
