The Ministry of Tourism launches a new Campaign, Wildlife and Antiquities, on the occasion of Easter day and given the name ‘Easter domestic tourism campaign’, intending to encourage Ugandans to they can explore the various holiday destinations in the country. 

Dubbed “DTF Easter 2022”, the campaign was launched by the state minister for Tourism, Martin Bahinduka Mugarra, at the Uganda Media Centre.

According to the state minister, his docket would manage the campaign in collaboration with several specified domestic tourism players who have created Easter packages that local tailor makes. 

As per Bahinduka, We are going to launch the Easter holiday getaway packages that will be used during the Easter holiday period for Ugandans to go and recharge in several destinations globally. 

Furthermore, he mentioned that the ministry has researched and identified different destinations which are the primary household holiday destinations for Ugandans.

“We have also recognised some rather priced lodges and hotels in each of these destinations that the public can take advantage of for great Easter packages using the ‘DTF Easter 2022’ promo code.”

Moreover, the minister asked Ugandans to look out for participating hotels and domestic airlines like Aero link Uganda and Bar Aviation. He stated that he would offer preferential flight rates to Ugandans, ranging from USD 250 for return tickets to some of the major national parks.

According to the minister, the campaign will run from April 10 to 22, 2022.
