Nigeria: The Anambra chapter of the Nigeria Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (NASME) attended the Stakeholders Engagement Summit at Onitsha, Anambra State, on Tuesday. The event was hosted by several other members of the business community.
The theme of the stakeholder engagement was Access to Finance & Cheaper Funding for SMEs in Nigeria.
The event served as an opportunity for the business sector of Anambra to come together and discuss various development avenues. The Nigeria Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (NASME) shared some images from the event on its social media.
The representatives of the organization claimed that they were delighted to be a part of the summit. The event served as an opportunity for the NASME to make valuable connections in the business sphere of Anambra.
Other summit attendees include the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN), AFREXIM Bank, and other critical stakeholders. The event also served as an opportunity for the Afrexim Bank to unveil its MANSA platform.
The MANSA platform aims to encourage ease of doing business, ease of financial transactions and access to market across Africa. The summit served as an important platform for the development of the business platforms.
The Anambra State Chairman of NASME, Chinemerem Oguegbe, delivered a brief address at the summit. He asserted that manufacturers need to collaborate with small businesses within their value chains.
The collaborations can play an important role in helping them grow and become key players within the Manufacturing sector.
Chinemerem said that NASME Anambra is working to categorize its members into business sectors. This will help them identify Manufacturers in the State that they can tap into operations within their value chain.
Chinemerem Oguegbe thanked Lady Ada Chukwodozie, the SE MAN Chairperson, and Lady Maureen Mba from AFREXIM Bank for this wonderful initiative aimed at encouraging business relationships across Africa.
