Watching the increasing conflict, the diehard fan of FECAFOOT has apologised for the nuisance that, at this old age, he travelled by road to Ivory Coast.

Ngando Pickett started his journey from Douala, then went to Yaounde, to Foumban, Banyo, Gembu, Lagos, Cotonou, then to Lome, Accra, Noe, Abidjan and then to Yamoussoukro. He covered the whole journey with his friends, walking on foot only.

Considering the raging issue, Pickett has also made a statement on Canal 2 International and stated that there was a misunderstanding that he did not follow the program.

“It could be that I was asked to wait until Jan 10 to 11 but I rushed my departure. I had to be patient,” he said.

He added to the statement and said, “I thought I had been forgotten. But they had not forgotten me. That’s why I took a dangerous road.”

He said that everything was explained to him after he arrived there. He said proudly that he is with FECAFOOT and there is no problem with that.

In his statement, Pickett also mentioned, “Samuel Eto’o is my son, it was me who took it badly. We are supported by FECAFOOT. I’m the one who took things the wrong way.”

As per the sources, popular Cameroon National Team supporter Ngando Pickett was stranded in Ivory Coast after travelling for 6 days by road through Lagos. He was refused to enter the stadium when Cameroon played against Guinea because he did not have a ticket.

He sat there and spent long hours in front of the hotel, where the Indomitable Lions are lodged, to explain his hurdles. In the viral video, he looks exhausted and desperate.

Ngando Pickett was handcuffed once in Qatar after attempting to access the stadium with drums in Dec 2022.
