South Africa: The Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) is seeking public assistance to locate a missing mother & her two (2) minor children from Ntuzuma – KZN. The family members of the missing persons reached out to the law enforcement organization for help.
The family member who reached out to the organization for help has been identified as Happy Khanyile. The 33-year-old arrived at the RUSA Headquarters on Thursday morning asking officers to help in locating her sister Nosipho Khumalo, aged 23 her son Ayabonga Khumalo aged 3 years & her daughter Nkanyezi Khumalo aged 2 years.
According to information provided by Khanyile, the family were last seen on Monday night at 22:00 at their Ntuzuma – KZN home. According to the sister, Nosipho Khumalo told her family that the Ward 59 Councillor from Osindisweni in KZN had made contact with her.
The ward councillor offered a three-day training course that would secure her a job. This information has not been verified.
Meanwhile, the sister further revealed that Khumalo made arrangements for a vehicle to fetch her that night. She took the initiative as she wanted to be closer to the training venue.
Information received that the family was last seen getting into a grey Toyota Corolla. They have not been heard from or seen since. Her mobile phone remains switched off.
Reaction Officers conducting the interview advised that a Missing Persons report be filed at the local Police Station. No SAPS reference number was provided.
Further, the reaction officers are sharing a post featuring the details of the family in the interest of the family’s safety. Nosipho Khumalo matriculated at Lockhart High School in Iqadi – KZN in 2021. She resides in Lindelani C-Section, Ntuzuma (further detail withheld), with her children.
The reaction unit officers have shared the images of all the missing persons to facilitate the people of the country to identify them. Further, several persons of goodwill on the internet have wished for the safe and sound return of the mother and her family.
