South Africa: The “Race To be Myself,” by author Caster Semenya, is all set to launch this week in Durban and Cape Town, South Africa. The Book is published by an exclusive Book Publication, Johnathan Ball Publishers.
The Book Lunch event will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at Exclusive Books Gateway. On Thursday, November 23, 2023, at Exclusive fronts V & A Waterfront in Durban and Cape Town.
The Book was written by an athlete and South African middle-distance runner, 2016 Olympic Champion and 2009 800m world champion, Caster Semenya.
In her Book, the author shared her story about how the world came to know her after winning the 2009 World Championship. She also shared about how she was permanently banned from sports.
The Author found her strong will in herself, her community and her family. Her story is a testimony to inspire others from life and do what they love.
The Book, “The Race to be Myself”, has received appreciation and support from people around South Africa and the UK in past launch events. The Book has proved to be an effective source of inspiration for them to run after their desire and fulfill their goals.
