Nigeria: The executive chairman of the Asari Toru Local Government Area Onengiyeofori George has been working hard to promote healthcare. He has taken several crucial steps to revitalize the Oproama Primary Health Centre.
Prior to the intervention by the ASALGA Executive Chairman, the medical facility had been in a piteous state. The people of the community were unable to access quality healthcare due to the below standard facilities that the ccenter provided.
The officials have shared that it is extremely crucial for the people of the communities in Buguma to have access to quality healthcare. The administration is constantly trying to make sure that they the center can be improved
Through the efforts of the administration, the facility has been transformed into a state-of-the-art healthcare hub. The administration has claimed that the facility is designed to meet the immediate medical needs of the community.
The newly remodeled Model Primary Health Centre, Oproama is the administration’s efforts to deliver exceptional healthcare services. This fully operational facility prioritizes the well-being of the Oproama community.
The authorities have assured that the health center will provide a  large variety of services to the people in the community.
The facilities include:
- Laboratory tests
- Maternity care
- Emergency services
- Family health
- General Medical Care
The ASALGA authorites said that the healthcare center meets the community’s immediate health needs. At the same time, it also sets a new benchmark for excellence in healthcare provision.
The facility currently has access to 20-beds and is expected to serve the community well. The executive chairman of the Asari Toru Local Government Area, Onengiyeofori George is happy to support the development healthcare under his charge.
The Model Primary Health Centre, Oproama was commissioned by the Leader of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Major Jack. The initiative is a milestone in the AsalgaFirst Administration’s proactive approach to enhancing citizen well-being.
