PM Philip J Pierre expressed condolence on passing of Saint Lucian Patriot Wayne

Castries, Saint Lucia: Prime Minister of the Caribbean country of Saint Lucia, Philip J Pierre, has recently extended his deepest condolences to the family and beloved ones of Wayne following his unfortunate demise yesterday, 19 February 2023.

Castries, Saint Lucia: Prime Minister of the Caribbean country of Saint Lucia, Philip J Pierre, has recently extended his deepest condolences to the family and beloved ones of Wayne following his unfortunate demise yesterday, 19 February 2023.

According to the reports, Prime Minister Phillip J Pierre took to his official social media handle to share the unfortunate and sorrowful news with the residents of Saint Lucia and cited, “The past week has been a truly miserable and disheartening one for me as we as a nation has been going through deep losses ad moments of deep reflection.”

In addition, the Prime Minister of Saint Lucia further addressed the family of the late Wayne and expressed condolence towards his wife, Anya, their sons and family. The social media post by the minister further read, “My sincerest condolences to you on the passing of this giant of a man. Thoughtful, talented and patriotic, Wayne truly loved and served this country well.”

While expressing grief and displeasure, Prime Minister Pierre stated that this week had been a truly painful one for him. So much loss and moments of deep reflection. “May his soul rest in peace,” he prayed while concluding his post.

Earlier, Prime Minister Philip J Pierre expressed his grief on the passing of the Superintendent of the Royal Police Force of Saint Lucia Deterville. The post by PM Pierre read, “We are never truly prepared for death, the inevitable end, more so, when it is a sudden death. Superintendent Deterville was a hardworking and professional policeman who served his country with dignity.”

Further, he expressed his condolence and mentioned, “My sincerest condolences to his family and the members of the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force. May his soul rest in peace.”

Along with the prime minister, many Saint Lucians also expressed their sorrow and grief and took the comment section to share their support and tribute towards the demised Saint Lucians.
