Saint Lucia: Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival has officially started, and country Prime Minister Philip J Pierre and Deputy Prime Minister Ernest Hilaire welcomed viewers on May 5, 2023. The opening ceremony took place at Mindoo Phillip Park.

Saint Lucia: Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival has officially started, and country Prime Minister Philip J Pierre and Deputy Prime Minister Ernest Hilaire welcomed viewers on May 5, 2023. The opening ceremony took place at Mindoo Phillip Park.

Last night, the official opening of the Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival thousands held at Mindoo Phillip Park in Marchand, Castries, which country welcomed thousands of attendees from the island and the government also welcomed the best musicians and internationally acclaimed artists.

For almost 25 years, the Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival has been a popular event on the global music festivals calendar, drawing in numerous visitors to the shores each year. The newly reimagined Festival aims to pick up where it left off and regain its status as one of the world’s premier music festivals, showcasing the finest music, culture, and art.

There are numerous benefits of the Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival. It will increase the island’s service providers, creatives, entertainers, and event patrons, increasing the country’s economic activity.

Saint Lucia Prime Minister Philip J Pierre welcomed the attendees. He said, “I am delighted that I am welcoming thousands of patrons to the official opening of the Saint Lucia Jazz and Arts Festival in my constituency, Castries East.”

PM Philip J Pierre also congratulated the Tourism Minister and Deputy Minister Ernest Hilaire and his staff for executing such an epic return.

PM Pierre also wished for a safe and peaceful week of activities for Saint Lucia. He said, “Next week `we planned incident-free events to bask in the glory of rebuilding Saint Lucia‘s world-class event together. I anticipate that the economic benefits of this event will positively impact regular people, and I am excited to celebrate your success.”

The Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival has made a comeback, and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism Ernest Hilaire was pleased with the event’s turnout. Minister Hilaire expressed his delight with the large number of attendees and the active participation of the locals throughout the show. He also mentioned that this year’s Festival promises to be nothing but excellent. The Festival will continue this weekend in Babonneau, Desruissseaux, and Soufriere. Minister Hilaire wishes everyone a safe and enjoyable Jazz season.
