St Kitts: The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew has expressed his delight on the success of the 90 day campaign against violence and crime. The aim of the initiative was to highlight the importance of community support in finding the way towards a safer community.
The law enforcement stakeholders of St Kitts and Nevis were also participating in the 90 day campaign which started in September and concluded in December. The programme has helped many organizations make significant advancement in the federation’s struggle against violent crime.
The Prime Minister was proud to note that the the programme has helped in reducing the number of crimes in the federation by 20 percent. The officials have shared that the number of violent shootings on the island have decreased by 60%
The officials have shared that the programme conclusion served as the platform for the discussion of the community welfare. The well being of the people is one of the biggest victories.
The Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew said that he wants to make sure the anger and back and forth had simmered completely. The officials have made her jewellery into an heirloom.
The officials have shared that they had been looking for ways to reconnect reclam their connection. The announcement was made right after the conclusion of the 90 days Campaign against Crime and Violence.
