St. Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew joined the youngsters to mark his presence at the Sound Your Future Summer Camp. He visited the Solid Waste Conference Room and enjoyed his meeting with the children.
The Sound Your Future Summer Camp featured various activities which including songwriting, spoken words, music production and several others interactive activities. The dynamic sessions of activities were conducted by PM Drew himself in which youngsters between the age 10 and 18 participated.
This exciting camp was especially designed for the youth of St. Kitts and Nevis. The event was led by top local and regional facilitators, providing them a chance to learn grow and express themselves through the power of music and words. Sound Your Future Summer Camp 2025 is being observed from August 11 to 15, 2025 between 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Considering this, Prime Minister Terrance Drew shared the glimpses from his visit to the summer camp 2025 on his official social media handle. In photographs Dr. Drew can be seen interactive sessions with children and sharing glee moments.
PM Drew said that the Sound Your Future Summer Camp 2025 officially began on August 11, and over the coming days, campers will explore songwriting, spoken word, and music production while building confidence, teamwork, and lasting friendships.
He further expressed that this camp is not just about learning skills. It is more about inspiring dreams and giving young people the tools to make them a reality. Drew affirmed that he will continue to encourage the young people to stay away from gangs, crime and violence.
Coordinator and Ambassador – Karisia Willet was also present there and coordinated the event. Through this camp young people were given the opportunity to harness their talent in the field of creative economy. The purpose of organising this summer camp yearly is to seek help in their efforts to steer the children on a positive and wholesome path with an aim to reject crime and violence.
Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew wished all the children of St. Kitts and Nevis success in their future endeavours.
