St Kitts: The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew opened the Ambassadors Cup Football Tournament. The launch of the tournament was hosted on Sunday with ambassadors of the St Kitts and Nevis labour Party in attendance.
The football players within the community were present at the football tournament launch event for the members. The officials have shared the event was hosted with the aim of bringing the people of the island together for the event.
The members of the community have shared that the tournament will help in ensuring that the youngsters of the island can continue to engage in productive activities. The football tournament comes at a opportune time as the nation is campaign against violence and crime.
The organization is dedicated to encouraging the people of the island to participate in these activities. The football tournament is being sponsored and organized by the ambassadors of St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party.
The Prime Minister shared several images from the inaugural ambassador cup which is being hosted for the first time. Prime Minister highlighted that the tournament was organized by Ambassadors Leon Natta-Nelson and Kenneth Douglas.
He said the project will help in promoting a sense of comradery within the youngsters of the community. The officials have shared that the members of the community to be part of these initiatives.
The football tournament allows nationals to put their energy into being responsible and productive citizens. The federation will benefit tremendously from the sports event, as such, prime Minister Dr Drew thanked the organizers and sponsors.
