Portuguese Women’s Premier League recognises Michaely Bihina as best goalkeeper  

Cameroon: Football player and goalkeeper of women’s national team Indomitable Lionesses – Michaely Bihina has been recognised as the best goalkeeper of the Portuguese Women’s Premier League for the season 2023-24.

The soccer player has been awarded for jaw-dropping 14 clean sheet stint that she conceded 11 goals in 22 games for Racing Power FC this season.

Reportedly, 20-year-old Michaely Bihina is crowned with the position for her remarkable performance at the premier league. Her exceptional performance has been recognised on Saturday, May 11, 2024 despite of her being the team’s narrow 1-2 defeat against the formidable Benfica.

Bihina’s performance in the second season with Racing Power FC has been a fairy tale. Not only did she helped the team to propel to the top division but she has also played a pivotal role in their remarkable finish in the top three this season.

As per the sources, the former Éclair de Sa’a guardian has been nothing short of a spectacular but boasting an impressive tally of 14 clean sheets and conceding a mere 11 goals across 22 matches, consisting a total of 1888 minutes on the pitch.

However, in a delightful turn of events, goalkeeper Bihina accolades were complimented by the Kazakhstan Cup trophy. It was clinched by her teammate Ange Bawou, who secured 4 clean sheets in five matches.

The duo’s triumphant has been illuminated the path for Cameroonian football on the international stage.

Considerably, Michaely Bihina’s journey from the fields of Éclair de Sa’a to the heights of Portuguese football has been meteoric. Michaely Kyria Bihina is a Cameroonian footballer who was born on December 28, 2003 and plays as a goalkeeper for Éclair de Sa’a and the Cameroon women’s national team.
